Our Policies & Good to Know
GOOD TO KNOW BEFORE YOU BOOK
The inn is not child-proofed.
Children are very welcome, but the house has stairs, antiques and other features of a historic home. Children should be comfortable negotiating stairs and appropriately supervised.
Pets live on the property.
Our border collies, Eevee and Marlow, live with us in our private quarters and fenced yard. They may bark a greeting when they see you arrive, but they are friendly and generally hoping for a pat.
Our cats, Pink and Floyd, are indoor/outdoor cats, so you may also see them around the property.
There are stairs.
The guest entrance is reached by approximately 25 outdoor steps, followed by another 21 indoor steps to the guest rooms. The inn is therefore not suitable for guests who cannot comfortably manage stairs.
Wi-Fi, but limited TV.
Guest rooms do not have televisions. A TV is available in the guest kitchen/common area for streaming, and complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the inn for use with your own devices.
Rossland gets real winter.
Snow and icy roads, parking areas and pathways are common from fall through spring. If visiting in winter, please arrive prepared for mountain driving and winter conditions. Winter tires are required on most routes in this region from October 1 to April 30.
